HOW TO SETUP COMPARE FEATURES ON PRODUCTS AND VARIANTS
- The product (no variants) and product variants must have unique SKU codes
- The product/product variant options will automatically be compared
CUSTOM FEATURES
- Create a metaobject
- Create a product/variant level metafield
- Add the metaobject to the product metafield in the admin product page
- In the theme customizer > Theme settings > Product specifications > Metafields, add the Title and Metafield key

Define the attributes to be compared between products using the following format:
Title: metafield_key (product level specification)
$Title: metafield_key (variant level specification)
Example:
Pays d'origine: spa_origine
$Formats: chimique_formats
The Title is used as the row’s heading, while the metafield_key defines the source metafield's key. The namespace is always assumed to be 'custom'.
Each attribute must be on it’s own line.
Prefix the line with a '$' to signify that this is a variant level metafield.
